These are guidelines to be followed for members to abide and team members to moderate against. However, these are not set in stone, and are not limited to.
A team member has the right to moderate anything he or she wants at their discretion, albeit they may have to justify their decision to do so if a complaint comes up and must have a legitimate reason for moderation. You can complain about moderator actions in the Help Desk.
- Do not post any illegal material or link to external sites that contain illegal material.
- Do not use the site or link to sites that share files illegally or use torrents/P2P networks.
- Do not post any hardcore pornography, this includes sexual acts, simulated sexual acts, ejaculation, erect penises etc. Exceptions can be made by an administrator upon request. Do not link to such material either. Nudity is allowed and sexual imagery may be posted if for educational purposes.
- Do not post anything offensive or malicious that can be taken seriously, without humorous intent. I.e. Do not troll.
- Do not spam advertisements, if you wish to advertise on Draglide then you should pay to do so, so everyone benefits.
- Do not say a bad word about the Apple Mac. Post deletion is a bare minimum punishment, with banning more likely in extreme cases. Go Mac!
- Do not use AOL/1337 speak or anything other than Standard or International English. This is a forum used by English speaking people, even if as a second language.
- Do not post or make topics that are deemed spam, i.e. that do not contribute anything. Posted contents should offer something valuable, such as an opinion or even humour.
