Those coming to the meet should remember that it is now the 1st July, it doesn't seem that long since we started planning for the meet, but it has been half a year and you should really sort out transport now if you haven't already.

Don't wait for a week or so before you have to go, nothing is set in stone if you leave it. So get organizing.

We still have space for 2 people (1 double bed); please contact me if anyone is interested, deposit is paid.
Jun 19 2009 Off-Topicness
written by Martin | 171 Views | 40 Replies
Okay so this afternoon and this evening there's been way, way too much off-topicness. Draglide is a relaxed place where people can chat shit and everyone knows each other, so people going off-topic is inevitable. But today it has been taking the piss. If you want to start spam threads, go for it. But don't hijack other peoples' serious threads, and post two pages of drivel that has nothing to do with the topic. It's rude and inconsiderate.

I am not saying you're never allowed to go off-topic, but use your brains and realise when enough's enough.

Just a friendly reminder. If it keeps up, I'm just going to start deleting everything in sight because I can not be bothered trawling through it all and you are spoiling people's threads.

Download centre is now open, you can find it in the links at the top of the page and is available for you guys to upload and download from, but please be kind.

Admins and mods can also moderate it.

This will be a documented feature in the Support area soon.
Jun 14 2009 System Update

Over the coming weeks, we intend to rewrite some areas of Draglide and improve by possibly adding HTML 5 support and by updating the CSS scheme to include modern items that most browsers do not yet support.

We are aiming to increase the performance and usability for users of Safari 4, which is now the fastest, most standards compliant browser (including supporting standards that are not yet finalized).

It is available for Windows and Mac, but users of other browsers should not worry. That said, Draglide will no longer cater for IE specifically.

We also intend to make Draglide validated and standardized (which it isn't right now).
